"Business Directory of London" 1884 edition
- In The Post Office Directory for 1882, there is reference to The LSC Station No. 4 at 27/28 Marlborough Street (which is off Great Marlborough Street and forms an approach to Carnaby Street in the West End. This station was only operational until the new West End station was opened in Shaftesbury Avenue in 1888 (On the site of the current A24 Soho LFB station).
